|Several years ago I began documenting specific events in my life through my work using appropriated images. Using graphite and oil paint together with various other substances like polyurethane and enamel gives each work a unique quality and a personal touch.
The process of art is something that is very important to me, layers of paint, wax or paper document the passing of time. Each stroke or drip is a moment captured. My current work explores this process through washes and multiple layers of paper and paint. A sort of soul searching while I "work the paper".
